Inductive charging uses an electromagnetic field to transfer energy between two objects. This is usually done with a charging station. Energy is sent through inductive coupling to an electrical device, which then can use that energy to charge batteries.

This is different from Tesla wireless power transmissions.
 

@tpetar: I just read about Tesla's wireless power transmissions after your last post & i read that he did light a bulb 26 miles !!!! away from source using wireless power transmission.

What is the range of Inductive charging ??? 30-50 cm ????

I didnt measure inductive charging range but its very close. Posted illustration talks. Also losses in this type of commercial inductive chargers are very high.

Yes, according to some testimonials and documents Tesla did that over long distance, and on other way which is different from inductive charging.
