generic printer driver

hello,

I am trying to test my serial printer by adding Generic Printer driver on Windows XP.
RTS/CTS flowcontrol has been implemented on the printer end.

I am able to test printing by selecting NONE Flowcontrol, though characters are missed while printing.

On configuring HARDWARE Flowcontrol no data is transmitted from the PC end.

Is there anyone who can help me out!!!!

xp generic printer driver

I have developed Printer controller card for thermal printer which prints 32characters in one line.

I have used RTS signal for flowcontrol.

add serial printer in windows

Hi,
Try shorting DTR/DSR lines also on the PC side. I do not think you have seperate selection for RTS/CTS alone under flow control. Mostly the system is not priting since it finds handshake signals are not ok.
