Hi... I need to learn about Windows application registry... how it works? how can I design such an application that conains that? I'm not asking about cracking the registry NO! i'm a programmer and I need to make a registration for my program... and also what is the Security protocols used in this app.

thanks in advance

Hi,

first of all Windows registry is nothing to register programms in the mean of grant access to "registered users".

The windows registry is a file that contains application specific data, as example: position of main window, last used files and so on ...

As far as I understand your post, you want to control the usage of your program, I'm right ?

For theese there exist some good programms like Soft Sentinel.

Greetings ...
