Winder for small transformers

Sometimes, it is necessary to wind a new transformer. There is no problem with the secondary winding, but to wind 3'000 coils on the primary one – it's a big problem. This device can do it for you.
The base is made from a chipboard, the blue housing is from an old film projector. The motors are from made in china toys. To steer them, simple bipolar transistors are used.
In the big gear, there is a hole for the optical sensor to count the fool rotations. The signal is transmitted to the processor. The steering is based on Atmega8. Program based in Bascom. There is a LCD – it can be unplugged to be used in other projects.
