hi
I think they don't use the 64 bit tech only use 32bit in a 64bit system.
but may be newer versions of these software support this feature
it will make them so fast (is 64bit os sufficient or it needs its own software updates)

cadence support 64bit mode in ncverilog if you use
-64bit.

you'd better check whether the software on win has 64b version.

many eda tools only have 32b version on win/linux because of the transition problem and memory limit.

Some EDA tools have 64-bit Linux version.

Maybe AMD 64-bit CPU is better becuase it has a good compatibility for both 32 and 64 bit application programs.

Cadence IC5.0 support 64bits on several application (Dracula, ...)
You have to change the default path to the 64bits path.

which tools support 64bit linux ??
1. Cadence ..
2. Synopsys --> **broken link removed**

Many Cadence tools have 64bits version. I think if you want the software run stably, the best solution is that you install the right version!
