Hi all,
Questions regarding a CATV power amp design,
Freq range: 50MHz to 3.0GHz
S11 & S22 min spec = -15 to -15 thoughtout the range
S21 min spec. 21dB over freq
2-stage design using pHEMT.
Used tons of resistances to move it close to center with certain mismatch for S11(~-16dB across the band), and S21 (~30dB@50MHz, and 19dB@1.7GHz, and 18dB@2.7@GHz). However the best for S22(~-2.8dB@50MHz, -7@1.7GHz, and -8dB@2.7GHz).
Any idea what to do. I have at least 2 L-network at input, interstage, and output matching, and while keeping the inductors low, because this is inside the package.
