Dear all,

A different topic from earlier post, i want to know the difference between wide band and narrow band semiconductors.i know its the forbidden gap in discussion but how do it differs in the two cases?

Regards,

Rahul

Wide band and narrow band means the energy gap is big or small. For example, in LED application, it will lead to different frequency when LED emits light.
