which are easy to use low cost wi-fi module in market for microcontroller use?

dont rely on usb for your applications.
usb requires a working driver, and you will have to update your usb driver at almost each major os update
build an ethernet interface, it's not much work, and it will still work in decades (and it would have worked 30 years back...)

this may not be the cheapest but I have had a lot of success with wi-fly modules as they are easy to setup. and they store all the info in them. I chose a different route this time and bought a wifi shield from arduino(because of a app i found on the internet said it did not support wifi-bee.) It has taken 2 days to set up and although I can run WifiUdpNtpClient, the script I want to run WifiUdpSendReciveString does not run. I am not going to give up but If i do not get it working today I will go back to my Wi-Fly module.
