WHY VERILOG???

Ok maybe i'm to BOLD here ,..But i have used always VHDL ..and i never ever found a reason to GO VERLIG .. the open tools and most of the INDUSTRY is based on VHDL.. some tools support both .But is more frequent to see a specialized tool like a filter design tool just support VHDL..
So any VERILOG fan that could tell the other side of the coin??

so why bother with VERILOG??
