numeric_std vs numeric_std_unsigned

Hello,

Is numeric_std_unsigned a different library then numeric_std ?

If so, when do we need to use it?

Edaboard search does answer the question pretty well. e.g. https://www.edaboard.com/threads/239950/

It's the VHDL2008 replacement of Synopsys std_logic_unsigned, for those lazy engineers that rely on using std_logic_vectors for numeric data, respectively to ease the porting of old VHDL code that uses the Synopsys libraries.
