IR repeater

Dear guys,

I am doing IR repeater for my own hobby.

Receiving module is from Vishay TSOP7xxx that could detect well beams out from remote control.

I am using 555 IC to regenerate 40KHz exactly to modulate the signal out from TSOP7xxx. This signal is amplified and feed a IR TX LED via a about 10 meters of cable.

My question is: this could work with some device (like Toshiba TV) but not with some (like Panasonic TV)

Any one knows why? Is it due to frequecy?

Pls help!

Thks

Hi

It is related with signal coding system.I think Panasonic TV uses different system to en/dec signals.Check this :
