Why my class D failed?

At the beginning of testing, the class D amplifier works well. But eventually, about 1 hour later,I found the current of the power supply became bigger.I power-down the device, the current still stayed at 20mA level.
I wonder whether the big current destoryed the transistors in the device, perhaps latch-up or other factors.
I have no experience in power amplifer. Please help me and I'll appreciate for your help.
