Why Memory devices doesn't have JTAG interface

Dear,

I don't see any memory with JTAG interface. Why memories generally do not have JTAG though they are coming in BGA packages?

Please respond.

There is no use in debugging the memory. They do not store the data or instructions in step wise manner.That's why.
 

Since there is a full access to all memory cells via the address and data lines, there is also no need for JTAG on chip.
