Hi,
Opamp tlc27l1 o/p is connected directly to MOSFET 2N7002, without any resistors in between. Opamp o/p is high. Vcc=9V.
without mosfet i see that current consumed is <500uamp, but when mosfet is connected then current increase to 2-3 mamp,
does mosfet consume any current to operate at gate terminal?

If the OP is operated with a feedback, parasitic oscillations due to the capacitive load may occur.

Hi Tkx for the reply,

Opamp is operated as comparator and tested with and without feed back element.

please see the ckt diagram attac.
