who is familiar the event-driven simulation?

Hello everyone,

I find the event-driven simulation from the IEEE paper. Who can explain the details? And what's the names of event-driven simulator?
Anyone who can provide an example about it is really appreciated!

First examples you can find in the STATEFLOW coder from simulink. The event driven simulation is for simulate systems that have a STATE to STATE transition (For example a digital system, a GUI software system, a Factory from macro viewpoint forgetting the dynamic aspects of microsystems) and can be modelled as Finite STATE Machine.
