I have tried to get clearcase LT installed on Redhat Linux 8.0 without success.
A new release for Linux that support up to RH9.0 has a reference relase date of June 2003, but the real release date could be several monthe later.
That is why I have to install clearcase LT version 2002.05.20 for now. In order to install that on RH 8.0 or 9.0, we need a patch for that clearcase_lt_p2002.05.00-11.rhat_x86.tar.gz which can be downloaded from rational.
I follow the instructions of how to install the patch in the release area, but it seems there are some problems with their documentation and also their "apply_patch" installation script.
Does anybody succefully install the patch on Redhat 8.0 or 9.0 please share your experience with me. Thx a lot.
