led spice model

I need a white led spice model to do my project, can anyone upload it?

some detail: forward voltage=3.3v when current=20mA

led spice

The spice model of white LED is very complex.
I have found it for a long time, but could not found it.

led pspice model

Most white LED manufactures have spice models. You should just be able to go onto their site and download the model. I just finished a white LED driver and I used a the white LED model that I got off the manufactures web site(can't remember which one I used).

white led model

Hi Chaps,
I could be a bit late
I have the same problem.
It seems that the "guys from Sims"are reluctant to provide accurate models for Leds

Inclosed Correspondance with Tina Simulator help Site(Note: Tina is good normally)

Question or Problem
Program TINA
Category Usage
Title LED forward voltage temperature dependence

Question/Problem Using Leds in simulation

I normally use a lot in real time
The voltage on the Led should decrease as the temperature increases (as the current increases with the temperature)
In real time it can even create a thermal overrun

In Tina the voltage increases with the temperature

Am I doing anything wrong???
Or misanderstanding something ?

Ignore this if I am wrong .....
I must find it on my own !!!

Best regards

George

Answer/Solution The LED forward voltage temperature dependence is not modeled in TINA because it is not specified in the datasheet of the LEDs.
The XTI and EG parameters specify the temperature dependence of the LED.

I sent them a graph of Vforward/temp ....
I replace them (as a very temporary "fix")by normal diodes..or Zenner (reversed)Bad heh !!
Did any of you get right ??
Would be nice to hear from you.

ok,the simpleset way for a white led symbol is use a BC short bjt and a Voltage Source connect in serise
you can adjust the area of bjt or Voltage Source's DC voltage to 3.3V when pass through 20ma current

spice led

Thanks oxplorer,but that implies
3 nodes for the BCxxx
2 for a V source
2 for a I source
and make a macro with an output for the Led
that cost me 9 nodes per Led instead of 2
And my Sim is the cheapest one with a drastic limit of nodes
I am going to hunt the net for a valid model that I can integrate in Tina

I really need to translate into a model
I have been coping with the Zenner and I do the final test anyway in real and see how bad the difference.
My stuff is only experimental and I have only myself to blame if I goof.
Thanks again.
