Does anyone knows where I can find info, drawings etc for building up a white LED projector?
Thanks,
D.

The highest power white led are the luxeon devices, which only put out about 30 lumens for a 1 watt device. I think white LED are not yet at the power level that can drive a projection. sorry!

Well I have heard for such device using white LEDs. There are several hundrets of them. Is it impossible?

Hi,

A small google.com search revealed a forecast product from Mitsubishi. See

Because this above news was dated earlier this year, it is good to check Mitsubishi home site if they have come out with it or postponed.

See to some other google search results for yourself as well, like here:

If your intention was to build/construct such a projector, then there is site you could visit, but they focus on LCD projects. You may inquire on their own Forum for possible LED projects maybe. See **broken link removed**

Hi

Check prolight LED's they have a variety in 1,3,5W. And they are cheaper than Luxeon.

I found a 25 lux LED LCD projector from LG for ~800$. They say it's "lamp" will last for 10,000 hours.

What's the lifetime of those 5W LED's ?

it's Silicone component has a life of around 10k Hours
