Which type of SMA connector is suitable for my design?

Hi

I am designing a GCPW fed Antenna to operate in frequency range of X and Ku bands. I'm using Rogers RO4003 substrate with thickness of 32mil. Kindly, help me in choosing the right SMA connector for my design.

I am no expert on connectors but I would go with this type of a connector:

JOHNSON/EMERSON|142-0701-851|JACK SMA, END LAUNCH, TAB | Farnell United Kingdom

As you are working at high frequencies and you have a coplanar structure a through feed is not recommended. with the connector in the link you can get right to the beginning of your line and have minimum loss. Make sure you solder it nicely to all ground planes. I am not sure if you will be able to find one that fits the thickness of your board but you can just use extra solder or a piece of copper to close the gap. We use them all the time.

Poor connector workign up to 8-10 GHz...with proper mounting...

I saw this connector up to 32 GHZ worked with RO4350. Of course you must calculate proper coplanar line.
