Which order lines are used for addressing in 8085?

abt 8085 up.........

in the case of 8085 we can adress upto 256 i/o devices but my dout is which adress lines either lower or higher order adress lines are used for adressing......
help me plz.......................

there are 16 address lines in 8085 and coolectively they point to a certain address in memory but as we know address is only fetched when ALE is high and when ALE is low then only 8 address lines are in use. these are used to transmit or recieve data from memory or temp registers (A,B,C,D,E,F). So in this case when 8085 is using onl y 8 of the 16 lines then the lower address bus are used for the same i.e A0 to A7.
