Alliance vs. Foundation

Hello,

Of Alliance and Foundation which one you would better rate and on what grounds? e.g., speed, user-friendliness, GUI, integration with ModelSim, excessive scripting in Tcl etc. Which one is overall more straightforward to use?

Number and extent of supported devices are unimportant to me.

I look forward for forum's response.
