Which main differencies between PCI 66 and PCI-X 66?

PCI-X support conventional PCI-66 and PCI-X 66 (66 MHz) modes.
But which differencies between this modes? Are PCI-X 66 slowly (because
ATTRIBUTE phase exist after ADDRESS phase)? Or ATTR provide more
advanced feature for software drivers, end result performance will be higher then
PCI-66?
