Hai

I have a type of smart cards available locally.

It has got 6 pins (Just like the atmel card with 8 pins in IIC mode)

but the vendor is not in a position to give me the manufacture or datasheet of the card. All he says in a 1 MB card. That is all.

can anybody help me to obtain the datasheet of this card. Nothing written or marked on the card .Just 6 pins with usual memmory card size.Fits directly in my FCI connector for 8 pin atmel card.

available locally .but to use I should get the info .please

urgent

what is the card usage there ? for example if it is used for payphones , you can guess what it is or .... , otherwise the only way is testing it with some known cards like pic or atmel MCUs inside the dard ... ,
however if you knew it is payphone card , you can not acess theis datasheets easily , because most of these cards have security usage and getting datasheets need to sign NDA ( non-disclosure agreement ) with manufactorer ...

Hai
Thanks for the info.

it seems difficult to locate .morover from the information i gathered it seems to me that these 6 pin cards are meant for SPI or rather three wire interface. What i want is a two wire IIC interface card. So it seems useless for me any way.

Any body help me to locate Atmel, 128 byte, IIC, two wire interface, 8 pin card in INDIA?

Thanks

that is not complete datasheet , you can not work with the card with those information , you should sign NDA as i said to get the complete datasheet ...

Regards.
