how to calc dc energy using dsPIC?
if im taking 10samples of v&i in 1sec..and tkg average and calc energy.wil it be most accurate method??
Whats your view and opinion.if anybody did project to calc energy of PV panel(dc)?

you must multiply the V X I for every sample, save as W, average W. If you average all the Vs, and all the Is, then multiply to find Wav. You answer will be low.

so taking the power avg is the best?

actually im thinking of taking samples of v&I and multiplying them and taking the avg of that in 1sec lyk tht.
otherwise,E=P*t.This t must be that sampling t of tht PIC using.1st instants energy+secnds..etc..
then displaying after 2sec or lyk tht..
Which will b the best option??is there any journals or books or sites explaining about this.
How wil get the 't' if the freq of oscr use in the dsPIC is 4MHz.?
tcy=2/focs..

which will be the 't' for calc energy is it tcy or tad?
