I'm not sure if the original poster was designing a board for mass manufacture. If so, don't forget design for manufacturing (DFM) - as different from the DRC that a board house will perform. You will be amazed how many little devilish details can send a fine-pitch BGA board into a flurry of expensive rework.

i think Zuken's Cadstar And Cadence's Allegro are the best for complex boards.

I am working Orcad many years ago, and i thing is very difficult to start with it.
But, if you spent many hours with a person who now and teaching you,
you will find that this program is very good.

-I had made a double layer PCB in the size of A4 paper with a IC with 200pins, and many others difficult designs.

-The only minus is that in the autoroute is not very clever. A human is necessary
for the routing. Is better not to try at all the autorouting procedure.
