Which is the best book for digital communication?

Right now I am following Simon Haykins but I find it very difficult to understand in some places especially when it comes to equations.

In some places he is not explaining how we get that equation.

Which book would suit me?
 

Hey, You better switch to B. P. Lathi. and keep the book of Sanjay Sharma with you....
