N+ P+ diffusion resistor

For a N+ and P+ diffusion resistor where should the substrate be connected to? P+ to lowest potential and N+ to highest potential?

Thanks

N+ P+ diffusion resistor

Pins of N+ resistor must have higher potential then its substrate. And P+ resistor must have lower potential then its substrate.
Keep in mind that resistance depends on voltage between resistor and substrate.
