Generally, it is quite common for "motor" available commercially. Is it ok to be used as a generator, i.e. be drived by another motor to generate electricity ??

If not, where I can buy a research-purpose GENERATOR ??

yes you can use a motor like a generator. the real generator is actually built a little different for optimization purpose.. but the motor as a generator will work just fine.
