where can i learn interfacing basics
please give books and their links(for downloading)
as well as websites

i THINK Stuart Ball has a book about "interfacing with the real world". Also embedded Hardware from Oreilly.

interfacing also depends on the chip u're using... if you're practicing with some microcontroller/processor,i think you can reference from the application notes..

If you are going to learn it, use a 8051 family microcontroller and Mazidi's Book (uploaded at this forum--do a search). Try to do its examples specially serial communication and interfacing with a LCD.
