unix network commands?

hi all

where can i find linux network commands descrption like ftp and telnet and so on .......specially provided with photos for descrption

man ftp
on your system in a shell

type
man telnet
on your system in a shell

or do you mean the ftp-protocol commands (as for writing your own ftp client?)

i donnot have linux or unix on my computer i just need to see some pics of real examples done on it for study purpose .....

i cannot download linux now on my computer so i asked for the examples of network commands like who,ftp,telnet,.......and so on

any way thanks all too much for the help
 

you are living without Linux !!! man u r good. few command i will tell. if u want there detail they try " man xxxxxx" on google. u will get the results.

1. w
2: finger
3: ifconfig
4: iptable
5: route
6: ssh
7: telnet
8: ftp
9: lynx
10: netstat
11: tcpdump and so on

I post Oreily Running Linux books at site below. U can get the Unix command from the books.
