Hi!

I'm building small project with Arduino for my motorcycle. I want to use small LCD screen, about dimensions 3x1 cm, and push button, and depending on push button show either current time, or ambient temp. or voltage. Only problem what is left is to find appropriate LCD.

I looked on ebay, but I can't find such a small LCD.

Does anyone knows where else, I can buy it, or can I reuse LCD from some other motorcycle, because lot's of bikes have that kind of LCD, for example, this one have 2 of them:

Farnell, mouser, digikey will have small LCD displays.
Bear in mind, if this project is for outdoor use in cold weather or hot conditions, you should purchase a display that can
handle the temperature range (I saw your URL, but I'm not knowledgeable in these particular displays) and is
rugged.
An alternative is the LED display.
There are LED digits that are sunlight-readable, and -40 degree C operation is not unusual.

I looked in Farnell, and Mouser and didn't find anything suitable, but on the DigiKey I found couple of them!

Thanks a lot!
