SSN is simultaneous switch noise. This is a challenging of high speed IO. when many signal of IO switch simulaneous, they will drop a lot of current of IO. there will be great bounce at the supply and gnd.
All the single-ended signal is sensitive to commmon mode noise.
This high frequncy SSN will result into gorund bounce.(which will effect you Vt)
Plus board level "L inducatnce" Ldi/dt is also a major contributor for noise.
simultaneous switch noise (SSN) => V = N Ldi/dt
N=number of ouputs are switching
L=Inductance of your bonding wire
di/dt=mainly your speed
single-ended receivers are sensitive to the common-mode noise because
1. the driver and the receiver have different ground potential
2. the single ended receivers are sensitive to the trip point.
