Whats the Spartan delivery time ?

Wanna ask what is the Spartan availability for other countries...

Just heard from my distributor that it is 16 weeks for 200 and 400 devices...and ES 12 weeks...

Any luck getting samples more quickly?

or you can find a supplier that have some devices at Stock (but more expensive) otherwise you must wait.

Why the distributors say that I don't know. Phone the Xilinx main office and you'll hear a different story - ie they are expecting to fullfill all back orders by end of July and engineering samples are available in small quantities in 4 to 6 weeks, but they are not full spec.

Xilinx don't do samples.

Unfortunately there is only 1 dist. for xilinx here...2 for altera.

What is exactly missing from ES chips? Mutipliers and RAM?

Where do you get your xilinx fpgas then? (o;
