What's the difference between running the DC in graphical mode vs the topographical mode?

After using DC default mode, I am studying the DCT and DCT.

1. Is the default mode using WLM and these two modes using def file & tlu+ files?

2. DCT = DC topographical mode, DCG = DC Graphical Mode?

3. What is the difference between DCT and DCG?
