Hello,

I have a PIC16LF76 - I can find a datasheet for 16F76, but not specifically for the 'L' version?

From what I can tell - the 'L' series added a capacitive touch input feature.

can any one list the differences between the 2 PIC chips - eg, if the 'L' version has the touch capacitive inputs, is it only on certain port pins?, or all port pins?, or is it programmable?

Any other significant differences like for programming them?

Can the PIC16LF67 be a 'drop in' replacement for the 16F67?

Thanks in advance.

16f76

F = CMOS FLASH
LF = Low Power CMOS FLASH

L version support low vcc supply...

take a look at figure 15-2 on datasheet

yes... just be sure to check eletrical characteristics and timing...

16f67

please note that there is a supply voltage to frequency relationship. The maximum frequency for running the chip decreases drastically as you decrease the supply voltage.

16lf76

PIC16LF67 will work inlow voltage range to full voltage range. you can replace a 16F67 with 16LF67
