So what's next?
Clock freq. of uC is rising - breadboards as we know it would be a poor choice to prototype on now.
Communications are going wireless - all that RF again reduces the utility of the breadboard.
What is going to replace them?
One thing is for sure - now a days we all have a facility of making our own PCBs and making a SMD board is much easier than a DIP as the need to drill holes is greatly reduced, if at all (PTH/vias maybe).
However, does that mean we will all be having a hot air reflow station alongwith the ubiquitious soldering iron?
