hello dear friends
i have a question that i read in books in high frequency law's is changed(KVL,KVL)
my question is for simulate a circuit ,whats range frequency that i can get response for each Orcad,Hspice,ADS,PROTEUS ????
thanks for replay:idea:

In principle, there is no upper frequency limit.
However, you always should be aware that the parts/models you are using cannot always reflect the realistic behaviour - in particular for rising frequencies.
Example: Each resistor has not only resistice properties - for "high frequencies" it also has capacitive and inductive properties.
The frequency where these parasitics come into play depends on the error you can accept in your specific application.

yes, best answer ,our professor talk usually we use orcad them for 250-350 mhz in practical for more frequency is not good.
i hear that hspice and ADS is powerfull from pspice its true??they are more famous in industry??

I don`t think that this is a matter of the program. Instead, the exactness of the parts models determine the applicability of a certain package.
