What to do with the blue wire at the 8 pin din?

I'm trying to replace the connector from a 8 pin din to a db9, But I not sure what to do with the blue wire .
Please help me make Cable "B"

I suggest to leave blue wire not connected, if there are a problem connect it to pin 1 of DB9
