Hi,

Does anyone know what kind of software do companies like ABIT, MSI, GIGABYTE, INTEL etc. use to design their motherboards?

Thanks

Re: PC motherboards

I have done some mother boards for Intel and IBM. They use Allegro for a long time ago up to now.

Cadence spectra simulation is importance for setup critical nets and everything relates to highspeed design, EMC, EMI, etc. of mother board.

Other bog company use Mentor Board station and now they move to Allegro or Mentor Expedition WG series.

Have a nice day
