Please talk about what SMPS topology are the best suitable for audio power amplifier(class a ,ab, b,d or true digital amplifier).The smps power is over 250w or 300w.

full resonant is better than quasi-resonant,and have lower EMI.
for amplifier,another factor is loop responsable speed,it is very important.

8) use a topology which has the lowest peak currents.
A full bridge with active reset( UC 3875 )
one more thing your power supply should be completely shielded and should have multiple filtering at the output to get low ripple and noise.

In terms of your original post, a smps topology would be class d. Class a, b, and ab are all essentially linear. I wrote an article in EDn a few years ago on class d that shows the difference from class a and b. Amazingly, it is still online: **broken link removed**

Input voltage importand for selected topology.

Pushpull is best If you want to use low input voltage.

Hard switching technics produce more electromagnetic radiations
therefore you must use soft switching type design at the audio and video circuits.

If you not limited by input voltage any soft switching methode usuable.

The best way is to go to national semiconductor SMPS page where you can pick out a suitable SMPS controller then read their app notes.

It's very hard to build one from scratch.

For a start, go this this page then fill in the require specs and they will tell you the part you need. At least it will give you some idea.
