Hi, i would like to understand the following circuit:
Capture.PNG

It is a lf198 SH circuit. I have trouble understanding the point of the diodes?

When you are in sample mode there is Vin voltage over the capacitor, is this correct?

Are those diodes there to create a "voltage-protection". +- 0.7 V?
Or is it to maintain the feedback when in HOLD mode?

The datasheet:

Thank you!
