Hey guys,

I want to make a metal plate resonate, by mounting a Piezoplate on it and generating waves with an oscillator.

I want to be able to adjust the resonant frequency with a knob.

I want the range to go from 0 Hz to at least 3 KHz.

I don't know what kind of oscillator I need, and don't know what I need to control the output frequency.

Is there anybody out there who can give me some advice on how I should proceed?

I have little experience in making PCB's with a soldering iron, so if it's a simple circuit, I should be able to build it myself with some proper instructions.

Any help is highly appreciated :)

William
