What makes Bioptron light so special?

Wh can help me understand this description:
"The type of light is classified as visible and very low calorie infrared non-cohesive polarised light"
It is used for:
wound healing, arthritis, pain etc.
What would make this light so special?

Visible: wave length between 700 and 450(400) nm;
Low calorie: low energy;
Infrared: wave length between 700 and 3500nm;
Non-cohesive: radiated waves are not in-phase and there is no single frequency but rather a spectrum of different frequencies present;
Polarized: normal sun light is a plane light ie. waves are two-dimensional and can be decomposed into two orthogonal components. Polarized light will have only one of these components: vertical or horizontal.

This light was dicovered in 1903 by dr. Niels Finsen and has been used since in the skin therapy.
Because it is very similar to the Sun radiation without UV is safe in use and, apparently, it helps.
So if you want to be beautifull - use it!!!
