As title,
I am wondering if the kernels seriously affect the operation speed when
EDA tools are running.

I'm using athlon XP3200, and kernel-2.4.20-28.9.athlon.rpm to replace the older kernel, which is default in RH7.3 distribution.

I see a great improvement in speed of routing task of cadence SOC encounter.

I use Fedora Core 1.
