hello guys , i donot knwo if the place of this subject is here or elsewhere (plz suggest if it needs moving )

any way : There is a white non transparent material\ that is used to hold capacitors and big components into the PCB what is its name and where can i find it ?

please see this photo here it is used inside and around the coil : **broken link removed**

It could be any number of things: potting compound, RTV, epoxy. (I'm betting on something like RTV). Is it soft/rubbery or is it hard? Basically, it's used to keep things from flopping around. You can buy stuff like this at a hardware store, or online.

Ny eyes aren't as good as they once were, but...
The semi-translucent stuff on the smaller toroid at he back looks suspiciously like hot-melt glue. The yellowish creamy colored stuff on the bigger toroid looks like something else.

actually what i am looking is this " yellowish creamy colored stuff" .

it turned out to be RTV or silicone based adhesive (non corrosive) for electronics thanks to barry and jayanth
