hi

What is the standard for LVPECL interface?

lvpecl cmos convert

LVPECL is the high speed data and clock standard, What do you need?
Here are some converter chips to convert it to TTL and CMOS,
Or may need the switching info?

what is the common mode voltage of LVPECL? Is it 1.3 or 2 v?

Re: lvpecl cmos convert

hi Johnson
"converter chips to convert LVPECL to TTL and CMOS",which chips ?and I find some chips which convert LVPECL to LVTTL,or which convert LVPECL to ECL,but I can not find the chip which can convert LVPECL to TTL directly.thanks

Re: LVPECL interface

While devices like the MC100LVELT23-D say they are LVPECL to LVTTL translators, because the LVTTL output is guaranteed to be > 2.4V it will interface with a 5V TTL circuit directly.

Keith.

hi keith1200rs
Glad to see you again, the chips like MC100EPT21,and MC100EPT26,which are also LVPECL to LVTTL translators, but High Level of the output can not attain 5V around.

Re: LVPECL interface

I realise they cannot reach 5V, but if you want to interface to something that is TTL then it should only require 2V.

Keith.

2v as I know
