Hi everyone,

We get R and C values from the wlm's and use it to calculate the delay. Wat is the relation between R, C and delay?

Thank You.

Re: Wire load Model

Hi,

R = V / i
= (q/C) / (q/t)
= t / C

Therefore t = RC

The product ‘RC’ is called the
“TIME CONSTANT”
This determines the delay of the cell

Hope it helps,
Thanks,
Chinni.

Re: Wire load Model

hi chinni,

Tanz for ur prompt reply. It helped me really. So based on the product of R and C values the time delay which occurs is known and the total delay calculated, right....................

Tank u once again

No Probs.you are welcome to ask more q's.

Wire load Model

is it true always?
wire load models...

Re: Wire load Model

the accuracy of the delay will decrease as the length of the wire increases.
