What is the power of the brake lights in cars?

OK thanks, in LED terms, I am guessing that would be 2W Rear light, and 7W brake and signal lights(?)

Each LED version of a light bulb has a different brightness. Some LED light bulb manufacturers LIE about their brightness.
Since a white LED is actually a blue LED with a yellowish phosphor then they are fairly dim behind a red cover. Aren't all brake lights red in the world?

I am surprised to read that some cars have "emergency stop lights" that flash at 4Hz. Can you imagine what a little old granny would do when a red flashing light is in front of her? Step on the power to get away?
