Hi.
I'm studying about LFSR recently, but there is some problem.
This is 3-bit LFSR and my book said that this circuit is expressed by primitive polynomial of p=y^3+y+1
I thought that Y3's value is y and next Y3's value is p. But after I have calculated it, I saw it was wrong.
So, I have substituted each Y1 to Y3 values to y but it doesn't shows any relative value to Y1 to Y3.
What is p and y's actual meaning in LFSR? Is it related to any value of each DFF's output?
