[SOLVED] What is the meaning of DO-15?

Hi,
what is the meaning of DO-15. I know DO means dual outline package. Then what is that 15...? what it mean...?
SMD resistor 1206 means 1.2mm(length) x 0.6 mm(width). Anybody can tell...?

It should be number of pins.

DO-15 IC Package, JEDEC DO-15 axial leads, Specification - Fairchild Semiconductor

1206 is 3.2mm x 1.6mm. The size comes from the dimensions in inches - approximately 0.12" x 0.06"
